Levi's 501, commonly known as "Red Ear," this is an original, not a reproduction. The manufacturing period was a transition period, so it may vary slightly, but it's from around 1980 to 1984.

This is a Levi's 501 Red Ear.
Made in October 1982, so it was manufactured right after the 66 late model.

Cone Mills, the company that produced Levi's denim fabric, stopped producing denim with selvedge for the 501 in 1983.
This is exactly that model! A rare model from a period of change about 40 years ago.

The outseam is side-seamed (no selvedge), so it's a Hachi-maru (80s model)!
White thread lock stitching.
The inseam is also white thread lock stitching.
