Features and Use
The screen features a matte/fresnel field with a 5mm clear center spot that contains the double cross-hair reticle.
It is a specialized screen highly recommended for applications requiring high magnification, such as photomicrography and astrophotography.
The double cross-hairs are used for focusing. When the cross-hairs remain in the same position relative to the subject, the image is in focus.
