The new Mizuno 9-Spike™ configuration is designed to provide optimal lateral traction for maximum quickness on the first move in base running.
This can also be adapted to the side-to-side push-off move from any fielding position. And for throwing, the diagonal flex pattern of 9-Spike™ on the forefoot increases pivot traction.
