Vintage Sandcast Sterling Silver Turquoise Ring Size 10 Tree Bark Texture

This vintage sterling silver ring was likely sandcast due to the texture inside the band, as well as the "tree bark" details. It features a round turquoise stone in a thick strip bezel setting with a small amount of gapping (see photo). The cab measures about 9mm long by 8mm wide. The sides of the shank are adorned with a bead of silver. The top of the ring reminds me of shoulder adornments. It measures about 1/2" wide across the widest portion of the band.

This ring is vintage & pre-owned and shows minor signs of wear. The turquoise stone passes the "hot needle" test and does not react to the touch of a flame. The ring is not stamped to indicate the purity of the metal, but I tested the metal with a GTE silver acid test. The results (red) indicate sterling silver. The metal is also not magnetic.
