Antique oval wood miniature frame and textured print

Beautiful, antique oval wood, miniature frame and textured print. The frame is a very old black and color with a brass border around the center. See pictures for condition and dimensions. The portrait depicts Madame Hippolyte Flandrin, born Aimée Caroline Ancelot, and was created by Jean Auguste Dominique Ingres between 1840 and 1850. The artwork is an example of Neoclassical art, which sought to capture the grace and calmness associated with classical antiquity
