This is a stylish, unlined kimono dyed with a hand-drawn mist gradation on fine crepe silk (hitokoshi chijimi). The matching lining (hakkake) features hand-painted flowers.
A single crest is placed on the back.
The pattern dyed on the upper lining (agemawashi) subtly peeks out when sitting or standing at a tea ceremony. This fleeting glimpse adds a touch of refined elegance.
The color is a slightly muted, perhaps reddish-orange? It's difficult to describe! The subdued color makes it suitable for a wide range of ages, depending on the obi.
