Vintage Boy and Rabbit Picture
The history of the original painter of this vintage print is interesting. His name was Henry Raeburn, born 1756 in Scotland. He remained in his homeland in Edinburgh to pursue what he loved most despite many other painters who wanted to go to celebrated artist cities. He had a godson and grandchild whose name was also Henry, who was deaf. Inglis walked into his grandfathers foot steps and became an artist as well.
In vintage condition. Flaws include the screw in the back needs to be rescrewed to make another hole so it can hang nicely on a wall. Slight chips on frame.
The print itself had a vintage black covering to the back, but was taken off previously. The age of this is around early 19th century to 1950s.
Measurements: About 17 1/2 inches long
And about 13 1/2 inches wide
