Vintage Heavy Taxco Aventurine Sterling Silver Hinged Cuff Floral Bracelet

I found this beauty all tarnished and ugly looking. But after I polished it up, wow what a stunner.
This bracelet is stamped sterling, Mexico and has the Taxco hallmark TL-17.
The design is simple yet elegant with three teardrop shaped, green Aventurine stones set within thick and thin, swirling silver lines.
The clasp is a pressure hook on the open end of this hinged bracelet. This may be an issue for someone who has a weak grip, like me, as the silver is so thick, it is hard to push it in to loosen the hook or tab. I had to press it down against the table to get the pressure needed to move it out of its space. The good news: it definitely is not coming undone while you’re wearing it. I would still be tempted to keep this even though it’s more difficult for me to get on and off because it’s so beautiful.
Review photos, carefully, there are light scratches on the surface of the silver.
