During Pelvic Activation Therapy (PAT), the physiotherapist will work with you 1 on 1 to locate, isolate and activate your pelvic floor muscle.
The methods used may include verbal guidance, ultrasound monitoring, VPT biofeedback, and electrical stimulation. Health questionnaires will be used as well to further monitor your progress.
You will gain an intimate understanding of your own body and learn how to access and control the pelvic floor muscle in order to effectively strengthen it via exercising it.
With sufficient muscle strength, you will be able to do the pelvic floor exercise independently and further strengthen your pelvic floor muscle at home by working out with the Vibrance Pelvic Trainer.
Each PAT session lasts for around 60 minutes.
